2027 Youth Trials

2027 OPDL Trial Information U13-U17

Rush Canada proudly holds an OPDL License, granting us the opportunity to participate in the top youth league in the province.

Our trial process follows the structured phases mandated for all OPDL clubs. Please review the details below to ensure you understand the timeline and eligibility requirements:

  • New Incoming U13 Age Group (Players born in 2014)
  • Objective: Identify incoming players born in 2014 outside of OPDL environments
  • Activity: Open Sessions
  • Period: August 26th – April 3rd, 2027
  • Phase 1: Players outside the Talented Player Pathway only
  • Objective: Identify players outside OPDL environments
  • Activity: Open Trials and Invitation Only Trials
  • Period: September 1st to October 19th, 2026
  • Phase 2: Players within the Talented Player Pathway
  • Objective: Select Full-Time Players – Finalize minimum 14 rosters February 22nd
  • Activity: Open Trials and Invitation Only Trials
  • Period: October 20th to February 21st, 2027
  • Phase 3: Any Player
  • Objective: Identify players inside & outside OPDL environments for remaining spots
  • Activity: Open Trials and Invitation Only Trials
  • Period: February 22nd to April 3rd, 2027

To express your interest in participating, please complete the trial form which is available throughout our website. Our coaches will review your submission and contact you with the dates, times and location for the age group requested.

2027 Grassroots U6-U13

The Rush Canada Grassroots Program provides young players with a fun, engaging, and development-focused introduction to the game of soccer. Built around age-appropriate training and the principles of long-term player development, the program emphasizes fundamental movement skills, technical ball mastery, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of the game. Led by qualified coaches in a positive and inclusive environment, players are encouraged to learn through play while developing the foundation needed to progress into competitive pathways.

Grassroots OPEN SESSIONS ON NOW

Players interested in playing for Rush Canada's U13 district program (not OPDL) are welcome to trial at anytime.


Peel Halton Youth Soccer League U14-U17

The PHDL Youth League provides a competitive soccer environment for players who have progressed beyond grassroots soccer and are ready to further develop their technical skills, tactical understanding, and love of the game. The program emphasizes long-term player development within a positive, challenging atmosphere, offering regular league competition, quality coaching, and opportunities for players to continue advancing at their own pace while fostering teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship.

Rush Canada iModel U14-U17

The Rush Canada iModel is the Academy's highest-performance development environment outside of OPDL and Ontario Premier League. Built around Rush Soccer's international player development philosophy, the iModel provides ambitious players with an integrated training experience that emphasizes individual development, advanced coaching, and a professional learning environment. Through a focus on technical mastery, tactical understanding, physical preparation, and character development, the program equips players with the tools to pursue success at the provincial, collegiate, and professional levels while reaching their full potential.
